Retire In Color

InKing Royalty Blog Hop April 2016
Welcome to InKing Royalty’s April Blog Hop! Stampin’ Up! announced it’s retired list yesterday—while we are sad to see some of our favorite products leave the catalog, we are certain that some amazing new products are on their way. As we introduce the 2016–2018 In Colors to you, we know we have to say goodbye to the 2014-2016 In Colors. Today’s Blog Hop is filled with inspiring projects that share some great ideas – featuring Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, Tangelo Twist, Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow. After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Stampin' Up! Retiring In Color Collection

To showcase these amazing colors, I decided to make a stack of cards. Each color stands on its own in these simple cards. I used the Love You Sew Host stamp set which is still available in the Occasions Catalog. This stamp set has so many fun greetings and images that are perfect to share with your crafty friends.

For each card, I chose an image to match the greeting and stamped on Whisper White cardstock. The base includes tone-on-tone stamping and a strip of matching Designer Washi Tape. It amazes me how well the colors coordinate. The ink matches the paper that matches the washi tape perfectly. This unique feature is so Stampin’ Up!

The three colors I will miss the most are Blackberry Bliss, Lost Lagoon and Hello Honey; shown above. All we can hope is to see these colors again in the future, but I know (and I have seen a peak) we are going to love the new In Colors that will be available in June.

If you love these colors, there is still time to collect them, but all the items are only available while supplies last. In addition to the In Color collection, Stampin’ Up! just announced retiring products from the annual catalog. Be sure to check that out too.
