Let it Snow

The Flurry of Wishes stamp set by Stampin’ Up! gets you ready for winter in this Global Design Project sketch challenge #GDP006.

The steep angle in the sketch reminds me of a hill of snow gathering as it falls and I wanted to share that image with you. Snowflakes from Flurry of Wishes were stamped in Pool Party ink over Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper.

Let it Snow

The sentiment from the Happy Scenes stamp set was embossed in white over Lost Lagoon cardstock and snow from the same set was embossed with clear powder over the Very Vanilla cardstock below.

Embellishments from the Seasonal Snapshot 2015 Project Life Accessory Pack include that tree-shaped paper clip and snowflake sequins. Very Vanilla Thick Baker’s Twine ties it all together.

I hope you enjoyed my card today. Be sure to check out the inspiration gathered at Global Design Project and participate in this challenge. We’d love to see what you come up with.

You are so right! The sketch lends itself to a snow bank perfectly. You have a great eye Shawn and I love all the perfect embellishments you used to bring this card to life, the tree clip and twine in particular.

I think blue is a good color for winter themed cards. I like how you highlighted the snow.
