Sending Love with Valentine's Day Treats

Valentine’s Treats using the Sealed with Love Bundle

Valentine Treats by ShawnStamps

Valentine’s Day is just about two week’s away, so I thought I’d share two ways to share some treats with those you love. The Sealed with Love Bundle by Stampin’ Up! is the perfect catalyst to get your creativity going. There are great stamp images, craft dies, Designer Series Paper, ribbon and everything you need to complete the perfect small gifts with tags, wrapping or even a card, of course. But I hope you’ll let me indulge with just a couple of ways to share some candy treats.

Global Design Project #GDP071

This project was inspired by Global Design Project #071, a Theme Challenge. This week’s theme is “3D or Off of the Page.”

My first project is a simple tag that finishes a clear treat bag filled with gummy lips (those are delicious by the way). I started by cutting some Real Red Cardstock to 2″ x 4″. I stamped some lips using Real Red ink to make a patterned paper, then folded the card. It is adhered to the top of the bag with Tear & Tape Adhesive, which I chose because of it’s strength. White ribbon from the Sending Love Ribbon Combo Pack is tied in a bow, then some die cut shaped are layered on top to finish the tag.

My next project was to decorate a Clear Tiny Treat Box filled with chocolates, because obviously you can’t have Valentine’s Day without some of these. (Is it just me?)

I made a belly band with a sheet from the Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack. These sheets are 6″ x 6″ so I did have to combine two to make it wrap around the box, but the seam is on the bottom, so only you and I will know that. I used the same white ribbon to tie a bow and embellished with a stamped and die-cut note.

One of my favorite things about the Sealed with Love Bundle is that you can make these tiny envelopes with adorably tiny notes. They fit and work like an envelope should. They also have the added benefit of being so cute, your recipient will love them too.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you’ll give the challenge a try. Click here to add your project to the lineup.
