Stampin' Up! Champagne Holiday

I’m back with a special post for the Global Design Project. It’s our 100th challenge and we have an exciting one for you.

Today each designer has created a unique card with no rules. Your challenge is to choose one or more and CASE (Copy And Share Everything) it. If you choose more than one, please post them separately here. Each designer will then choose a one winner who CASEd their card to receive the original. Isn’t that fun?! In addition, one overall winner will receive a gift pack.

My card features new products from the upcoming 2017 Holiday Catalog. Cheers to the Year is a fun stamp set with great little images and sentiments for New Year’s Day and more. I love the snowflakes and decided to share those with you first.

You may also notice the thin bars of Champagne Foil Sheets peaking behind the center panel. I just love this new metallic color and I would bet this is going to be big. To complement the Champagne Foil Sheets, I wanted my embossing to match so I created a little champagne mix.

I blended ½ teaspoon each of Silver and Gold Stampin’ Emboss powder, mixed them well then embossed the snowflakes, starburst and sentiment. It actually turned out close to the champagne color, but it’s hard to see in the pictures.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed the card today and the little mixed embossing powder tip. Be sure to play along with Global Design Project this week as we celebrate our 100th Challenge!
