A creepy card is easy to make with the Spooky Night Suite by Stampin’ Up! Here’s a fun, spooky card I made with a few supplies and a wonderful sketch featured in this week’s Global Design Project challenge. Here’s the sketch that inspired my card:
The sketch includes two panels behind a circle. I decided to use those panels for something fun; so I made a mini gate-fold on the front of the card.
I started with a 5-3/8” x 3-1/4” piece of Rich Razzleberry cardstock. Using Simply Scored, I scored 1-3/8” on the left and right of the card. Next I turned the card on a 45-degree angle and scored every 1/8” on the each of the “doors.”
The moon closure was made by sponging a piece of So Saffron with the same color ink in a circular pattern. I glued a Cat Punch cut from Basic Black cardstock then it ran through a Big Shot with a Stitched Shapes circle Framelit. Only half of the moon was glued onto the right door.
Next I made a cute pumpking with the Creep it Real stamp set. It is adhered with mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and tied with baker’s twine weaved through the pumpkin.
More Stampin’ Dimensionals adhere the Rich Razzleberry card over a base of Basic Gray and Vellum.
Inside the gate-fold card is a cute message from the Creep it Real stamp set. Trick or Treat and some candy colored with Stampin’ Write Markers.
I hope you enjoyed my card today. Be sure to join us at Global Design Project. Share you’re ideas for this week’s sketch and find more inspiration week-after-week.
