I Don't Want to Wait 'til Christmas Blog Hop

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s July Blog Hop! This year’s Blog Hop themes are inspired by popular songs. This month’s song is “I Don’t Want to Wait ’til Christmas.” We are half-way through the year, so there’s no better time to start thinking about the joy of Christmas. We are excited to share our creations with you today! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Color Your Season Stamp Set by Stampin' Up!

Today I’m sharing a card using a new limited-time bundle available soon from Stampin’ Up! The Color Your Season bundle is a fantastic collection of stamps and dies I just know you’ll love and you don’t have to wait ’til Christmas to get it. This bundle will be available August 1–31 and the best part is, you can use these products all year long.

The stamp set spans the seasons with various foliage and the Framelits Dies include beautiful, stitched frames you’ll just want to have in your collection. Plus, there are new Watercolor Pencils in some of our favorite colors from Stampin’ Up!

Limited Time Products by Stampin' Up!

New products available August 1–31, 2018

My card started by cutting some watercolor paper with the second-largest frame before stamping with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I cut the die first so I could align my stamps within the frame.

I used some new Watercolor Pencils: Garden Green, Granny Apple Green, Cherry Cobbler and Flirty Flamingo to pencil-in some shading. An Aqua Painter made it easy to blend the colors.

The background is stamped with Granny Apple Green ink on the same color paper. I used a Stamparatus to easily stack “Merry Christmas down one side. A little ribbon and a few more die-cuts finish the card.
